Question about water (from distances)

What I would like to know is if there is any way to load in ONLY the high res water texture so you don't see that ugly seam between the high res and low res textures when looking at water from long distances.

 

To my knowledge the only way to 'fix' this would be to increase uGrids.

 

Would a mod like the Texture Load Workaround fix this problem? I already have those tweaks in my general .ini but maybe increasing the values would fix?

 

I expect pop in from further distances, but the water is the most noticeable and immersion breaking, so I figure I'd ask if anyone has any ideas.
