Game Crashes in Settlement Build

I`m have a problem with the game crashing while in build mode ..when I try to go past "Structures" - "Fences" it crashes. The next Icon image I have past fences is a red "Sea can" i believe it is part of a mod but I don`t know which one..HELP

I think I know exactly what your problem is. I had this. Do you have the mod Homemaker and the Craftable Pillars ? It is a clash between the two mods due to the fact http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7917/? puts them in the Misc structures area. Which has something in the same location as Homemaker. If they were in Wooden Buildings Misc it would work alright.

Basically it's just a clash between Homemaker and Craftable Pillars. DD (the craftable pillar mod author) won't change it so you will just have to do with out it or homemaker.

I did have DD`s Craftable Pillars Mod installed !! I removed it & it now works !! Thanks !!

 

If other people read this post, DON`T be discouraged by this one conflict with this mod Author "DDProductions83 "..He has some awesome Mods & I would highly endorse him !!

ummm duplicate post, maybe you should mavbe a look through the forum and see that i had already had AND resolved this problem....

the ISSUE was actualy to do with homemaker

 

edit :: also BE aware that there was recently an update for homemaker that fixed file structure error...

 

90% of crafting crashs are missing mesh files..... the other 10% are generally caused by stupidly overloading the game or incorrect load order....

hey there

tI got the same problem now, and I totally can't figure it out... I've installed over 200 Mods so far, and never had a bigger problem that I couldn't solve. I'm not new to all that.
I just tried to disable all the mods and startet the game with just Fallout4.esm loading, and still, when I want to enter the build mode, the game crashes. WTF?

I can store and transfer, but i can't enter the build-mode.
Ah by the way, it's not a specific category or such, it's just the moment when i hit the "E" the screen turns black

okay, I just found out that the workbench itselg seems to be the problem.
I used a clean savegame just before leaving the first Vault, and went to the workbench, when the only option is to "search" the bench and voíla, the game crashes.
No Mods activated at all. What, besides reinstalling, could I possibly do to fix it?

Have you tried deleting workshop.swf and or workshopmenu.swf?

well i have the same problem but i just have Homemaker - Expanded settlements THIS IS THE ONLY BUILDING MOD I HAVE. help?
