Old gamer

Hi I retired a year ago so now have loads of time to game, started gaming way back with a ZX Spectrum and have been casually gaming as time and family allowed ever since. Found Nexus through Gophers vids on youtube and has opened a whole new world of experience for me .

Hi, thought I'd add my twopennyworth, hi Old gamer, I'm 57 and started gaming last year - Skyrim is currently the only game I can play on my laptop, so I'm playing it for all it's worth! the graphics are a bit crap though, and I am DYING to get into mods, but don't yet know how to put them in, plus I don't think my laptop will stand the pain! Am planning to get a gaming computer soon, I can't wait ...

 

In the meantime, does anyone know whether the snow mods that give you winter all over Skyrim would have a lot of effect on how the game runs? I am not actually bothered about frame-rates, mine are abysmal anyway, but I am more interested in the look of the world itself. I am just itching to have snow everywhere ....

(here another old gamer too....and i'm a woman...45 years old...Damned have said it lol...I never introduced myself here since i come ( i use your topic so :smile: )

 

i really love Nexus..it's Christmas day everyday here, lot of fabulous modders and creations, lot of good ideas.

 

Hope you will be like a fish in water here !
