New mods does not activate (CBBE, armor mods, weapon mods etc.)

Soh, after having seen that CBBE was now out for Fallout 4, I wanted to see if that would make me a bit more interested in playing a female character, always been more a fan of the male protagonist with Fallout games.

Anyways, I've been trying everything, from uninstalling the mod, to installing it again, same with all other mods that does not activate.

I've added the specified lines to my Fallout4prefs.ini and Fallout4custom.ini, and yet no matter what mod I install, they never want to activate.

Anyone ever had this problem too, after all the other lines were removed?

Bugs me out quiet a lot. :c

I've been having the same problem. I've triple checked the .ini files, uninstalled and reloaded, nothing. the only response I've been able to get is when I try to install Crafting workbenches; the game crashes when I go to the crafting area of the workbench. Help!

Only thing I can say is this, we STILL need these commands in the Fallout4.ini file
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\

As soon as I added those lines into my ini file, it all loaded and actually worked, so from my POV you are still required to use this.^

You should try that too 5un51n364

Yeh, I did run bodyslide before adding in the old lines to my .ini file.

But even texture mods just for the pip boy, or the guns would not work with what the new mod installation reference is telling you to do.

But hey, as long as things work I am happy. :P

I can't pull up what NMM tells us to change right now, but when they tell us to remove those strings, and add something else, and nothing works.

My brain just goes "whut!?" xD

whoever above me said you need to add /strings, /textures, /meshes etc, that is FALSE, that was only for the old fallout version. Somewhere end december fallout got updated and since then you need a new way to make everything work correctly

please see the official installing mods page here : http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation

if you done that correctly (i just deleted all my INI's, then forced steam to update and recheck my game, so it would redownload the INIs. then i changed them in this new method)

everything should work fine then, Also make sure in NMM you not only active the mods, but also on the plugin tab, activate those plugins in the correct load order
