Barbas won't spawn

I got to Falkreath and the guards asked me if I had seen a dog, I got the quest to talk to Lod and I did a few hours later, he gave me the fresh meat and I got the quest to find him but he has not spawned.

Using consoles to move him to me or me to him didn't work

Spawning a copy of him meant that I couldn't speak to him and therefore couldn't continue the quest.

Using consoles to set the stage of the quest to the one after didn't do anything, i simply got 25 gold and the map marker disappeared but I still had the miscellaneous quest in my journal and could not start the Daedra's Best Friend Quest.

I tried reloading to before I came to Falkreath, he still wasn't there.

I have looked for him everywhere, even on the road up to Helgen and up to Haemar's Shame and he is nowhere to be seen.

I really don't know what to do, please help!

I have completly the same issue and I tried to fix it too with everything I know, but nothing helps ... atleast there's more of us with this problem (more people with try to fix it). I hope someone is gonna find the solution. :)

I'm glad its not just me! I'm afraid I've still not found a solution either :( let me know if you find anything and I'll do the same! :)
