Problem with some mods.

Hi. I usually use several mod and the game always ran good with them installed by Nexus Mod Manager. Now some of these mods are not working, the game does not open. I am beginner to the mods. Can someone help me?

This is the subforum for site feedback and questions, not for mod related questions for whatever game you're having problems with. Anyone that sees this topic that might want to help anyway can't because you haven't clearly articulated the problem or told us what game.

 

I do have a set of general trouble shooting rules to use for most of Bethesda's games, unfortunately if you're having problems with a different set of games I don't know much about trouble shooting them at all. In future please post in the right subforum for that game (easy way to locate it, go to the Nexus Mod site for that game and click on "forums" at the top right of the page, it should take you directly to a subforum for that game).

The following is standard trouble shooting for issues not pinned to an obvious source, verifying your game files through steam is only step 1 aka the easy step.

• First - have you verified your game files through steam and updated to the latest patch?
• Second - uncheck all your mods, start a new game, save after the chargen. This will be your 'tester save.' Do Not Overwrite or Delete this save.
• Third - Enable five mods.
• Four - Go into game with your tester save. Run from one end of the game world to the other. Go into a few cities. Interact with a few things that are related to your problem. See if anything crashes/doesn't animate properly.
• Five - No sign of problems? Repeat 3-5. It crashed or something's not right? Go to step 6.
• Six - something not right? uncheck one of the five mods then go back to your tester save, repeat step 4.

Continue until you have found and fixed your error.
