How to change which graphics card you use?

Hello,

 

So my laptop apparently has two graphics cards. The Geforce GT 630M and Intel HD Graphics 4000.

I think the geforce is better so I want to use that one, but when I look in SkyrimPrefs.ini it says: sD3DDevice ="Intel® HD Graphics 4000" and when I use an ENB (performance one) it says I am using the Intel 4000 in the left top corner when I start the game.

So which one am I really using and how do you change which graphics card you use?

And sorry if this is a stupid question.

open skyrim launcher go to graphics settings there should be a dropdown menu under graphics cards if i remember correctly. note doing this will reset your skyrim.ini and skyrimpref.ini files in your steam and documents folder unless there read only so any changes you made will have to be redone. this will not change your .ini files in mod organizer profiles if you use it.

Thank you, it works now. I can't believe I didn't see that.
