Typically, no. However some do.

One of my friend is a vegetarian. He only eats fish if they died a natural death according to the company.

My mom is in medical school and as part of their training, they have to work at the clinic.

Any-hoo, one day, this guy came in, and, apparently, he'll only eat fruit. Period. Also, the fruit can't be picked off the tree/bush/vine; it has to fall off naturally.

Unsurprisingly, he was very close to death.
