TheObstinateNoviceSmith
I should have asked my question in a less convoluted way, but basically I was only asking why you felt that one of Nirn's larger (possibly largest) continents would be equal in size to Earth's smallest. That is what this was about for me at first, regarding your comment. Then it was about your response to that inquiry giving the impression that you thought I was saying (and/or accusing you of saying) that Tamriel was the smallest continent on Nirn, and explaining that I had not. Now that you've answered my question, I understand. You associated the size of these two continents as being similar, only because they are similar in shape. Now we can move on, or just be done since both our point of views on this are now both clear. I definitely still appreciated the discussion this provided despite all the confusion that took place on both our parts, lol.
CaptainPatch
I definitely still appreciated the discussion this provided despite all the confusion that took place on both our parts, lol.No problem here. Actually, I should thank you for prompting me to do a little research on the continents of Nirn. That is, I am now a more informed TES player because of this exchange. I am also reminded of a poster I saw with a Robert McCloskey (whoever that was/is) quote: "I know you believe that you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant." [sort of like what I feel after listening to a Sarah Palin speech.]
Zazo9090
I personally like to think that the only tes game that is true to the lore of elder scrolls when it comes to size and scale is daggerfall unlike the other elder scrolls games which are more like scaled down models of the real nations which are meant to be representative to that providence instead of its full real size. i feel that if you want to find the real size of tamriel you have to scale up the countrys using daggerfall as a base and starting point this leads to tamriel being about the size of Europe which is awesome
