Loading Mods via CCOR and merge patches

when loading mods through complete crafting overhaul do i disable them before or after patches. Wyre bash does not recognize them as masters so i disabled them before making a bashed patch, because of this id assume that disabling them is the choice.

Also I am curious on a couple things to do with merge patches. 1) should i use tes5edit merge and/or/with a wyrebash merge?

Yes disable all the mods (move to optional In mod organizer-manually move out otherwise) that can be loaded thro CCOR , make your bash patch. Then load game go into MCM menu in one of the tabs, First box allows recipes to be crafted second box adds items to level list.
