Use combat knives with one handed firearms.

I had an idea where you could equip both a handgun and a knife at the same time. It would be like using your handgun as normal, but when you "gun bash" you do a melee power attack instead with your knife in your left hand. Very reminiscent to the metal gear series with snake.
