"Fallout 3 has stopped working"

Constantly getting this error message. I suspect the auto saving feature in Real Time Settler to be at fault, but I have no idea how to disable it and I really, really don't want to disable the mod since i stash all my stuff on brahmin bess.

Note: This error/crash doesn't always occur at one place or when loading a certain save, it occurs randomly when I'm wandering the wasteland, and without any indicator that it's going to happen.
