I pretty much load them in and deal, but I've since been checking out the GECK and FO3edit to do some of my own tweaks. My question is: I want to use specific textures on specific weapons that original authors didnt intend. For example changing Jericho's Assault Rifle into a Unique version without effecting every other Assault Rifle in the game, only his. I know the answer is obvious but I have no idea if I should load both the meshes and textures and rename it, or just use the textures (as I honestly don't know the difference). Oubliette Posted January 16, 2016 Share Posted January 16, 2016 You're going to need to create a new copy of the item in the ck to make it unique, no need to rename the mesh or the texture after that just point the new item to it's new texture in the ck. However, if the model aka mesh has a different map than the gun whose texture you're planning on using your new texture won't work out as well as you want it to.
