Game keeps crashing, does OBMM track missing masters?

As far as I know, LOOT is a program to set your load order right and warn about missing masters (for the big green button Skyrim people). I have not used it myself, but considering its primary function as a utility to prevent and/or warn about load order stuff and missing masters, I cannot see how LOOT crashing could be caused by missing masters. It makes no sense. Also, people seem to recommend BOSS for setting Oblivion load order. There is an updated masterlist here on the Nexus that you can download. And again, I have not used BOSS, either, so that is all I know.

For load order management... no idea how OBMM works. Sorry. Have you tried Wrye Bash? The one where you also build your Bashed Patch? It colours the rectangles on the left hand side of each plugin, and also shows each plugin's masters in the order they have been registered in the plugin. Orange means wrong load order for masters and red means a missing one. If a plugin has a wrong load order for its masters (like in Skyrim, when the CK orders the official DLC esm completely wrong when saving a plugin that has all of them as its masters), you can sort all mods correctly and then use something like TES4Edit to sort each plugin's masters so they are registered the right way round inside the plugin (if they really were not originally) to make sure all form ID references point to the correct master (if it makes any difference, but just to be sure).
