GREETING on every Npc's dialogue

I have been working on a quest mod and i have all the dialogue just about sorted except the topic GREETING shows up when talking to any Npc, what could be causing this? Edited April 14, 2011 by GuerillaWarlord

You need to put in condition statements on the bottom.

can you take a screen shot of your greeting statements?

1.you need to set conditions normally getsId and others conditions you need.

2. you also need to select speaker in the dropdown list to the right which is usually the problem.

 

setting all of this should help.

i just tried setting the Speaker NPC, as it turns out i forgot to do that, but i am still having the same problem Edited April 14, 2011 by GuerillaWarlord

Somewhere along the line you ticked 'top level' on the greeting topic. Untick it.

ah thanks, its always something simple like that kind of dissapointed i couldnt work that out for myself haha, but anyway thanks for the help from everyone
