LE Unicorn

I know this probably won't get done, but just thought i would ask.

 

I have downloaded the Unicorn mod from nexus, and found to my delight it can use the textures from Oblivion (Slof's OB textures are going to be in SK :D I loved those, even more than her SK textures) However, there is one thing (well, a couple more actually) keeping it from being perfect: The mane. I hate that mane on the mesh. It looks awful with most mane/tail textures that aren't all white or black.

 

So, my question/request is: Is there a mod out there that has a modified Unicorn mesh? (I saw references to people talking about an earlier unicorn with a different mane in the comments section of the mod, but apparently it isn't available online) Looking on the unicorn Nexus Page, the original unicorn looked to be a slightly modified horse with a horn (it had a normal mane and tail). I really want a unicorn with a better tail (the tail on this one sticks out just a slight bit too far, not a big issue) and a smoother mane. To me, with everything sticking up all the time, it looks like the Unicorn got in the way of one of my lightning bolts.

 

The only other problem with the mesh is that when the unicorn rears, its front legs are boneless (as they bend like a hose with no joints), but again, that is even less of an issue than the other.

 

I do not know if the Author of the mod is even still modding, nor do I know if permission could be gotten to modify the mesh. If I knew how to do it (and had the modding tools) I would try it myself. It doesn't have to be a fancy mane, just one one the order of the Skyrim Original horses. (there was a modder made mesh in OB that had this type of mane, though not as bad, I disliked that one as well)

 

So, does any one know of a mod, or could someone modify the mesh if they can get permission from the original modder? (if I can find someone willing to do it, I would be willing to contact the original modder, the only reason I don't is because on the forum section of the mod, there have been other people asking for the mane to be changed, but no comments from the author)

 

I think the Unicorn itself is gorgeous and aside from the above issues (two of which are very minor to me) is perfect.
