Deleted1932859User
Hello, hoping for advice from Creative sound card users I have been playing with on-board sound and never any issues. But my Creative Audigy has way better sound, when you have good headphones, i really notice the difference.Latest Driver + Latest Alchemy (have tried 2 versions of Alchemy and same freezing issue) My heavily modded Fallout 3 runs sweet, but always with Audigy sound card it freezes 1 - 5 mins of playinggo onboard and hours of trouble free play (well hang on, this is FO3 here ahem. .) The freezing issue has occured: - with 3 different motherboards and setups- with 2 different Audigy's cards ( an earlier big model and a new smaller version - both retail versions from Creative) - have no stutter issues ingame or sound or radio stutter- always with Oblivion and Fallout 3, no other game whatsoever a problem * tried all the ini detail changing including enlarging cache etc and also many different ini's*cccp codec pack has Fallout 3 excluded for FFDShow I'm SURE that people have Fallout 3 and Creative soundcards working, what have i missed?Searched the net and forums but found no solid fix or is it just me?thank you if anyone has a few tips  specs:Win7 x64Phenom ll QuadAsus M4A77TD PRO8GB DDR3GTX460 1GBPCI Creative Audigy (Retail)OS and DX11 latest updates and latest drivers for everything. Pronam
I'm not using it anymore, but I can tell the same happened ;). I just stopped using alchemy for them.It was counting down to death whenever I enabled it >.>. Maybe this provides some clues.
