limiting the micro breeder regeneration

I'm still working on the tele-rifle from the last post and it's working now as it should.

 

what i'm still after is a way to get the Microbreeder regenerate at about 1/10 it's current rate (which is now 1/sec).

 

note that setting it's regen rate to 0.1 will prevent the gun from regenerating and use ammo 10 won't prevent the gun from firing if the player has less then this

i read that if you set it to below 1/sec the game tends to reset it back to 1/sec. you could increase the size of the clip so that it lasts longer before running out of ammo kind of giving you the effect you need since the gun will last a lot longer

a larger clip doesn't really help.

if the ammo use is set to 10, it still can fire at 1.

I've been using this just yesterday, the ammo-regen is the time-delay in seconds between adding another shot. so larger clips won't help a lot if you're waiting for more ammo.

you can use fractions of a second in that field, but each time you open the weapon up in the geck, it resets it to zero. so you have to change it back.

works fine in mods though.

so ammo-regen 10 would give me 1 every 10 sec?

i gonna try that out ASAP.
