Scrap made easier?

I don't know if this idea was put out for yet but this idea would modify the way of getting scrap easier from its more "complex" (ex. makeshift batteries, etc.) without having to drop everything on a settlements ground and scrap manually every single item (grouped and non-grouped versions) into their more basic components.

Basically I would like to see if someone can make a mod that either enables to scrap items in your junk inventory entirely or a station in settlements that automatically makes a complex scrap into its simpler scrap pieces. This may be tough but enough playing of Fallout 4 has taught me one thing, WE NEED SCRAP!

If anyone is interested in getting this going just private message me so I know that you are interested and so I can cooperate with you on said project in anyway I can.

Thank you for reading this and taking time out of your day/night.

lest120: He's talking about a mod that streamlines scrapping itself, i.e. scrapping items directly from the menu rather than dropping them on the ground first.

Yep, Just been finding it hard to do it when I have too much junk to go through lol. I also bet some people have the same annoyance I do over this as well.

Unless I am getting the wrong end of the stick, does the game not already allow this? If you store your junk in the workshop it auto-scraps it as required when you build.

it does its just another player whos to lazy go to workbench and drop it off even tho fallout 4 is covered in settlements u can own

lest120: I believe the point is to avoid cluttering up the workbench with useless junk to begin with by streamlining the scrapping process itself, allowing the player to "store" only items that are actually of use. It's not lazy; it's common sense...something Bethesda appears to be in short supply of. No one in their right mind would would store tons of junk in a workbench (which wouldn't hold it anyway) -- much less lug it around -- in the real world. Why FO?

In conjunction with the 'scrap on the fly' mod, it would make the less savory aspects of the game much more appealing to many of us. Those who don't want to use such a mod wouldn't have to.
