newgate5255
This would have made my first play through as a warrior so much easier -______-

Eferas
Still not possible? I'm afraid nobody is modding this game anymore, except for nude mod makers T_T
svartberg
Doesn't seem possible, I think the only things that can do is editing the xml's to modify some numbers here and there (e.g. exp gains, stat growth, etc)Something like 6 warrior skills isn't there at all.Or alternatively would have been cool to maybe have alt secondary item, like a shortbow One other thing that's badly need are some defensive/dodging, allowing rolling with great swords would have been epic. Warrior is the most fun, best looking class imo, but also weakest by far ... ended up playing assassin/MA for my solo run.

robwindude
Sounds great, I was wondering if it would be possible to make new skills too, in particular defensive skills like block, parry, and disarm.
smuggler09
I actually tinkered around a lot with the mods provided by the community, I found a neat way to make use of the Warrior class's second hand, I used dinput8.dll hooks by Jaryn123, (probably the best mod made for DDDA to date, unless someone figures out a way to get the Berserk DLC items set back to the game) to make the game ignore vocation restrictions (among MUUUUUCH other things! It's ridiculous really), this allowed to equip second hand weapons at the same time as the Longsword (since it actually equips in the main hand) and use all the core/class based skills attached while removing vocation restrictions, this means even if you're in a Warrior vocation you can still use bow skills, shield skills or any other weapon skills, this not limited just to you, it also affects your pawns, for example: my main pawn is a Fighter wielding a Mace/F.Shield instead of a Sword/F.Shield and it works perfectly. My Arisen is a Warrior with a Longsword (Main Hand) and a Mystic Shield (Second Hand) this is because of multiple reasons, Bows, even though second hand weapons they somehow clash with the Longsword swing animations, not in a game breaking way but still looks glitchy, probably because they both go on the back of the character unlike the shields, I chose a Mystic Shield because it's very beneficial party wise (allowing to buff them with weapon enchantments myself instead of the Mage Support Pawn who I altered the skills to focus more on other spells instead such as Necromancy or Voidspell) and because I couldn't find a working Invisible Fighter Shields Mod unfortunately -.-Since I didn't want the character to disappear behind his equipment, I used Mystic Spellsword (Invisible M. Shields) by Zenas, you can guess by the name what it does. I call the result a Mystic Parrying Glove. It basically looks like this,http://i66.tinypic.com/2a0aour.jpghttp://i66.tinypic.com/24o37z9.jpgYou can tell that I am inspired by Berserk, this is my mage support pawn for example, bummer I can't change her physical appearance though,http://i64.tinypic.com/29ommnq.jpghttp://i64.tinypic.com/ml1sma.jpg This is how the Mystic Parrying Glove looks in action, this is a shot of my character blocking arrows shot by bandits and ... apparently my mage running away from a dagger dive attack: http://i64.tinypic.com/35hmpt2.jpg This is a shot of him using his secondary skills:http://i66.tinypic.com/2ekljkl.jpg Here are the links to the mods if someone is interested: dinput8.dll hooks by Jaryn123: http://http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/96/ Mystic Spellsword (Invisible M. Shields) by Zenas: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/307/ Although this is an alternative, sadly it doesn't solve everything, the skills and movements are still slow (didn't find anything that properly fix this, if someone knows any fix please share it with me), there's still no dodge or double jump for warrior -.- (core skills are not interchangeable, dinput8.dll couldn't fix that) and a secondary skill set for this class just like the mage or sorcerer would be a welcome change, the warrior having very situation oriented skills like Pummel Strike or Act of Vengeance. This vocation was very mistreated by the devs for some reason  Edited April 25, 2017 by smuggler09
Squerol26
One other thing that's badly need are some defensive/dodging, Please man... Did You even tried Escape Slash/Exodus slash? Offensive dodge skill. You have invicibility frames there. Correctly timed You can dodge any physical/magic attack from any opponent. You can even pivot to change direction of dodge. You can cancel it with jump too. Edited June 18, 2017 by Squerol26
