Crisb92
I know that there are traps such as the 'Indiana Jones' arrows flying out of the walls, but do the other traps, such as the spikey balls on chains actually do damage to the player, because I have been trying to set them off and get in the way, and so far nothings has happened. This is really just out of interest rather than asking if I've somehow stuffed up the game. :)
Malchik
Yes, they do damage the player. In many cases the damage is level related. They also damage any enemy who happens to get in the way. If you play with one of the levelling mods added you don't want to 'try them out' at they will almost certainly kill you outright.
Ginji
This topic reminds me of the time I was in a dungeon and I shot at a mudcrab, missed, but set off a log trap which CRUSHED the little *censored*.
Povuholo
If you play with one of the levelling mods added you don't want to 'try them out' at they will almost certainly kill you outright. But if an enemy is too strong for you, you can use the trap to your advantage. 'chained spikey balls' can still be used after they have been triggered, if you can swing them fast enough.
Magnus61
Yep, they hurt. Had a stupid log damn near kill me yesterday, never saw the pressure plate. I fire arrows at them or summon a minion on top of the pressure plate to trip them.
Sypron
I just thought I'd add this (it seems relevant): Funny Tricks to do with traps! Once while adventuring through the sewers under the ICP (theives guild final quest) I found presure plate, and a skeleton standing not so far away from it. Compined with a little mod, I managed to skim an arrow of the plate (trigerring it) and continue on to hit boney. Boney starts running at me on half health, when suddenly a mace falls from the celing crushing said boney.
