bananalint
I don't know if this will help anyone, but I've heard talks of being able to get the armor in-game by using a cheat engine. Never seen proof though. Not really get the armor, but they did find the item-id is still inside PC version of the game.I was spending most of my time on the Japanese VoceOver mod which is now more or less completed. So i have been extracting all different kinds of .arc files just now and my my what i have found ^_^Anyway, what i need to find is the file that holds the models for the missing armors and weapons, they will be of lower quality since it's ps3, but i think everyone can deal with that until someone makes a higher texture version. because that is not my area. And after finding the models i need to edit the actual npc in Ancient Quarry to have that item id in his shopping list, that's from where you can get those equipments from. But as long as i can find the npc, preferrable on the pc version, i might be able to do something ^_^ Until then, im gonna keep looking for what i can find inside those missing files and as i said, am still working on the japanese voiceover a little bit more before finishing it up which you can visit here http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3701975-request-japanese-audio/ I hope the list i wrote down here had of some use to someone meantime i was working on the voices. Until next time. Edit: Ps. If ANYONE could find me the file or files for the ancient quarry npc shopkeeper named Alon or if it's a file that contains all shopkeepers which would be even better, that would be really helpful on the way. Update: Nevermind about finding the npc, i just did. I now need a program to open .shp files and i might be able to put everything back in the game ^_^ wish me luck //CrazyLamer I love you right now! I'm looking at a site that lists 3 programs that can open "shapes" files, Autodesk AutoCAD 2016, Autocad 3ds Max 2016 and CorelCAD 2016. Looks like you can get at least one of those programs free for a month. Man I'm glad you're doing this, I just got ahold of the PS3 version to try and poke around but I doubt I could figure anything about by myself. lillmuppen
Hey Guts420, yeah i am familiar with the standard .shp files also known as shapefile used for maps, and they are actually used where im working at since they are working with maps.I am going to try install Qgis and see if i can even open the file, and then i'll try one of the autocad ^_^ Thanks for the advices, i did poke around about .shp files and found those solutions aswell but it was around 5.30 am so i had to try to sleep for atleast a few hours ^_^
sorridosuneku
It is awesome and reassuring to know there are people working on making things like Japanese audio and putting the Berserk sets back into the game a reality. I don't know if I'd use the J audio seeing as I'd have to look down at the subtitles to find out what's going on, though I wonder how the J audio is vs the E audio as I can appreciate the sounds of different (I listen to music in many languages) languages. I can't wait to hear about the progress of both even if I'm mostly looking forward to being able to use the Berserk sets. lillmuppen
Some updates made in http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3701975-request-japanese-audio/ so please check that for the status about Japanese VoiceOver Project. As for the armors and weapons i still have no clue how to open and edit the .shp files.I've tried a few different programs like notepad++, wordpad, notepad, qgis, winmerge and no luck so far to even get close to reading the files. I will keep trying but if anyone finds or hear something of how to open them it would be really helpful. lillmuppen
Well great news berserk fans, i now have a method to edit the shopkeeper who sells the items, now i just need to find the correct solution to repack and the game accepting the new file.Repacking the same way as unpacking lead to game freeze with an error code, and with that error the game is trying to find the model for the npc, which means the repack wasn't good enough. So im trying that out right now, and i have also discovered and have all the files for all missing armors and weapons, and i can confirm with this. Guts420
Holy s*** dude I love you.... I so hope you manage this, if I wasn't so damn broke I'd even donate to you for it, lol. PS. Did you just plan on giving it back to Alon or do you know yet if its just as easy to give it to other shopkeepers? Not that I'm trying to ask more of you, beggars can't be choosers of course. lillmuppen
Okay, so i successfully added Thousandlimbs and Swordsmans plate to Blackcat Shopkeeper, but when you buy it it doesn't show inside inventory/equipment screen. So if anyone has found these files for inventory/equipment selection i might dig up so it actually shows in there, and then i can try to equip it and see if my model and texture works. so yeah, pretty good news everybody !
