Script for this

I was thinking on this as some kind of "redemption system". Say, you killed a share of faction A guys, they start hunting you. Kill a bigger share of faction B guys, gain back the approval of the faction A and they will forgive you.

 

Another thing i'd like to add is that each in-game day, if you're disliked, the faction's disposition with you goes back a little towards neutral. The farther you are, the less per day it goes and, once back at 0 (neutral), remains there.

 

I'm thinking of this because the game uses normal factions and a copy of said faction, but with the player flagged as enemy. What I want is, while a faction's disposition with you is 0 or higher, you're not flagged as enemy, -1 or lower, you're flagged as enemy.

 

So, is this possible with scripting/NVSE? Is there a mod that does this already?

Making quests off neutral npcs to regain status with a faction is a good idea, but I'll still try to find a way to do this completely through scripting (if possible), as I want this more for some custom factions i'm creating.

 

I mean, if a game script makes calculations for dehydratation on a constant basis, so to say, in theory, I could find that piece of code, or something similar, edit to affect faction standing and that should do the trick.

I am sure it can be done even if i am not sure how to do it. My method with an npc could be a usefull tool if someone is stuck because of wrong faction status. so I'll stick with that.
