Alright, I posted this here under the assumption this would be the best place to do so.

Quick background: I have recently gone from 360 to computer gaming now I have my custom rig done (specs below) I have been around forums for about 4 years, if you have ever been on Halotracks.org I was Head Events Manager there for around 2 years until I "retired." I'm very tech savvy even though this is a learning process so I learn very fast and communicate well with others.

Simple Specs

CPU: AMD Phenom II XII (unlocked to quad) 555 Callisto 3.2GHz

Mobo: ASUS M4A77TD 770 ATX (unlocked other 2 hidden cores using Turbo Key)

GFx: EVGA GTX 460 SE (plays most games on my PC at maxed settings including Fallout but need a good fix for minor lag sometimes as I've read it's a game issue, if someone has a good fix that would be great)

HDD's: (1) Samsung Spinmaster 500gb, (1) 80gb Seagate *boot drive*

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

RAM: 4gb (2x2) A-DATA 1333mhz DDR3 (stock timing at 667 but runs so smooth I don't have a reason to OC)

System was put together for under $900 including monitors (I saved money by modding a case, full steel full tower. Temps are very nice on air (fan controller too) and some Arctic Silver 5 for my CPU (I plan on getting some diamond compound later) I have Adobe programs like Photoshop too.

Alright, enough of me, time to get to the point. I've decided that I want to get a mod team together, but this isn't your normal mod team. I want to get a solid group of...

- people who either are really dedicated to learning the GECK and other programs involved in the process

- people who have basic knowledge of the GECK and are willing to work with us to excel

I already have 4 others assembled from one website. One knows coding and will learn with me, the other 2 are graphics, and another tester. I have worked with graphics for a couple year so I will be doing that too.

My hope is to get a solid 10 people group and start a IPBFree site for communication (as well as emails, skype, etc) so we have a little home base for ourselves. There we hope to build up and create some quality mods to release here on New Vegas Nexus. We also hope to find fixes to game issues such as the lag issue (unless that's already done and it's a 100% working one)

Sorry for the Great Wall, but it's the low down really. If you're interested just post here and I will get PM's sent out once I get about 4 or 5 more people that will be asking for contact info and a link to the IPB and what not. If you're also an experienced modder who doesn't want to join the team but will be willing to be there for support that would be great too!

*Just because this is my first post doesn't mean I won't check back. I have been looking around here every day for a little while as I'm really excited for what can become.

I can do landscape design, I've done it for a few others mods, I also professionally write as a career, so I can help with storyboards, and dialog, those are my two specialties, but I'm still learning things about modding.

Well luckily we all have a bit of experience, so things should go smoothly ;) And hopefully we'll be cranking out our first preview by the weekend!
