Username0815
Hey fellow modders, I have a problem with exporting colission mesh data and building nodes. I want to edit an existing mesh by extracting the .nif file with nifskope and then imported it to 3ds with the .nif plugin for 3ds. At the import I checked import with colission data, but when I want to export it from 3ds, I cannot check export the colission information. Also the snap points, which are referred to as editor markers show up ingame as orange halfballs. Can anyone please help me? http://s7.postimg.org/99qgtu66f/2016_01_22_00001.jpg
lilkandeekid
I think most people have had to copy existing collision from similar .nif's in nifskope to get things to work.As to snap points, got nothing.
Username0815
Yes, after some short conversations I was informed that currently it is nessecary to use an existing collision mesh, while the geometry of the mesh can be replaced. This is however only a temporary and limited solution, as the collision mesh shape does not nessecarly match the new mesh.
