ReDragon1976
OK. finished my mod finally, found out how to do a few things with a lot of help from members here (thanks to those ppl) but now, I have one more question, when I promised I had asked my last question with my previous post. 7Zip, how do I use it to compress a mod? I right click on the mod (red briefcase icon) and hover over 7zip, and a pop out menu appears, and I get a selection of choices, which should I go with? The 2 that seems the most obvious to me are the -- Add to "Base V1.7z" OR Add to "Base V1.zip" Am I on the right track here? Any advice greatly appreaceated
Quetzlsacatanango
.7z is probably higher compression, but .zip would be more accessible to people (i.e. they can unzip it if they don't use 7zip).I make everything .7z.
enlo
7z has better compression.take a look at other mods for the directory layout. If you do it right, the package works with FOMM right away.or read this FOMM tutorial :) PS: FOMM does not care what type you use (rar, zip, 7z).
