Riding animations

I'm looking to try and make some simple changes to how the player looks when he is riding a horse.

 

I'll try to explain better. When the player is riding his horse on land with his body upright I want him to instead look like he does when he is riding through water where he is hunched over more.

 

Now my problem: I can find the animations for the horse running and so on, but I can't find anything pertaining to someone riding the darn thing.

 

Any help is appreciated. I'd love to know where to find this. Just doesn't seem to make sense that there isn't anything in meshes for it. I'll experiment with changing horse animations around to see if that affects anything with the rider... even if a horse trying to swim through the air will probably look odd.

Look under the idle animations in the CS. I believe that will provide the link you need. Although I'm not sure if there's anything actually different about the animation, it could just be that the bone for the rider moves when the horse is swimming... In which case, you would need someone to edit the standard riding animation, which probably won't happen. If there are two different idles, you can either change the logic, or the path to point to the animation you want, when you want.

Anyway, I checked all the player idles, and there was no riding position anywhere. I'm just stumped. I have to admit I'm sort of new to this and I thought that this would be easy as switching some paths around but now I can't even find the animation I am wanting to change. If I could just find somewhere to begin or something, then I might try hard enough to work it out over time.

Only with obvious differences, heh. It occurred to me to change it when I would go into 3rd person view and see my character's cloak just all stiff and clipping into the horse's back. I noticed at one point when I was swimming that while I was bent over my horse the cloak, while still stiff, at least looked like it could be getting some wind blown up into it and of course was no longer clipping into the horse and I looked like someone out of a movie a bit.

 

 

Edit: Looking again. My noobiness overwhelmed me and I didn't look in the right place when you mentioned Idle animations. Don't ask. Anyway, I found something pertaining to riding so I might be getting somewhere. Also I forgot to thank you above so I'll thank you here.
