uncapockets
I'm a major noob at modding and I was wondering how to make hair, as in what programs and how to actually model, also if it's possible to take parts of already made meshes and combine them together or cut out certain parts of them and place them into one model(for example: use the cropped hair as a base and add parts from, let's say the natural style to use for the bangs......how would I possibly go about doing that? crazydave
All you need is Blender, and of course knowing how to use it never hurts.
Sypron
Croped hair mixed with natural? Sounds like a bad recipie for a mullet. Careful now.
Abramul
Croped hair mixed with natural? Sounds like a bad recipie for a mullet. Careful now. What is it that people find so abrasive about mullets? P.S. Do you have any GOOD recipes for mullets?

SickleYield
I'd google the NifTools forum if I were you; that's the only place I've found much information about making hair for Oblivion (there's a little over at Canadian Ice and Howndog's Place). There's no way anyone can teach you to model hair in Blender in the length of one short forum post. Blender is not a program you can learn in five minutes. That's why there are tutorials. Making hair is also not the easiest thing ever, and most cutpastes will not work because hair doesn't work like clothing or armor (unless you put it into the helmet slot and use it as a wig, as some very good projects do). If I were you I'd start learning the whole workaround with something simpler, like a sword, then move up to simple garments, THEN think about hair. uncapockets
 Thanks a lot man, I will check the niftools forum and i'll take your advice and start with something simpler before attempting hair.
Sypron
Its hard to tell if Abramal was joking or not, but a Mullet is a bad hair style as well as a fish.
