Greslin
I'm learning my way around GECK, but absolutely hate the simple script editor. I know some people are using Notepad++ or other programming IDEs to do scripts. Is there any way to make GECK use a custom IDE (like Notepad++) directly as a default, or am I stuck cutting and pasting to and from the default editor? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Been looking in FAQs, Bethesda docs and forum threads, and haven't found the question addressed anywhere.
Pronam
It'll stay simple unless you redo it yourself like what's been done with the construction set extender for oblivion. (and that's not an easy job.)Cipscis has a nice online validator :)
rickerhk
I'm using notepad++ and don't know of any alternative IDE for the Geck. This syntax highlighter for it is very useful, though: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10322 After that, it's CTRL-A, CTRL-C --> CTRL-A CTRL-V
Greslin
Oh well - thanks anyway. I guess it's time to start scripting up my good friend AutoHotKey again..
