sonolil
I'm sorry to say this as a newcomer but this forum really gave me THE worst registration experience ever. Activation Link:http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=core&module=global§ion=register&do=05 Excuse me but what is §ion? How should I have known it was supposed to be global§ion??I'm glad some other wizard figured this out for other people with the same problems. http://forum.bioware.com/topic/251466-nexusmods-signups-are-utterly-broken-cannot-get-jb3texture-mod/ But I really didn't have to go through all this searching just to sign up on a forum. Never in my life did I have problems validating an email address. I would have given up if the website didn't require me to sign up for every single mod I download. You really might want to take a look at this.
DrakeTheDragon
They already did, and it's the mail providers or clients changing it, not the Nexus. It isn't exactly something that should be expected or even possible, because it's not following any common encoding rules or regulations ("§" would be understandable, but "§" alone also? makes no sense, is not a shortcode/encoding), completely bogus behavior of the mail providers/clients. I'm wondering which ones they are that are doing this? Is it only 1 provider used by many people? Or is it even a couple less common email clients rather? Really curious here. As for me, the provider GMail, the MS Outlook Mac client und the Google Web Mailer are "not" doing it.
