dewdropcat
I am working on a gem mod (one that replaces the original meshes with more realistic looking ones) and I am having troubles with the mesh and textures. I made it how I want in Blender and I got a texture that I liked. The problem is that I can't load the texture onto nifskope. I am using Nifskope 1.2.0 Alpha 2 and blender 2.68 a . I also don't know how to load it onto the mesh in the creation kit. And yes, before you ask, I am a beginner modder.
Deleted6429827User
You have to load the textures on the nif-file in NifScope. There have to be something like NiTriShape (or something like that) and there have to be a cathegory BSLightningShaderProperty. There you have to load the textures on the Nif File. DON'T move the texturefiles after that or you have to do this again. Put them into you Skyrim Data folder before you change this. Then serch the item or actor what you wan't to change and change the .nif file at this item. And than it should work.
