What Quest did I miss? Many I'm sure.

I defeated Dagoth Ur. I became the Hlaalu Grandmaster (Have my own manor!!!).

 

Now I am trying to go around and see all the sights that I never was sent to by the quests that I chose to tackle. The last one was kind of interesting.

 

I found the Maren ancestral Tomb (SW of Sadrith MOra). I went inside and dispatched a few Skeleton Champions. Finally, in the last room, a mad man came at me and tried to kill me. I forget his name, but it started with B. His armour was impressive, but I am level 62 and had no trouble killing him. When I did, I got that message that says something like. "You have just done something that stops you from winning the game, either quit and reload a savegame or ..."

 

But I have already won the game. Haven't I???

 

Is this fellow part of a quest for some other house? Why should he be so important to the game if you can complete the game without visiting him in this tomb??? I've missed something here. What is it?

Oh my god. I hate this big. It pisses me off, cause it is just so stupid.

 

In the Maren Ancestral Tomb (East of Erabenisun Camp, Southwest of Sadrith Mora) is a person called Crazy Batou (he is beyond three or four weakly locked doors, with many skeletons guarding him). At the end, he is there (he is easily identified, by being the only person in the tomb and by his glowing helm). Kill him. You will get the whole "OH MY GOD! YOU KILLED AN IMPORTANT NPC! NOW THE REST OF THIS FICTIONAL WORLD IS GOING TO FICTIONAL HELL", that type of thing. This is just a bug. A really annoying bug, but still a bug. Don't worry about it and just take his nice artifact (Bloodworm Helm).

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever tried casting calm humanoid on him and talking to him? kinda like the Enchant Master Trainer.

Probably just has the topics a normal person has. When you start to get higher personalities (such as in the 80s through 100) you'll find that people in caves will stop attacking you on sight and you have to attack them. This is, since a person can have a disposition higher than like 65 or around there, they won't attack. And they just have normal topics (eg:latest rumors, little advice, etc.), but I found it hard to get much information about themselves out. The only people I got to find information about from themselves are the two guys in the Venim Ancestral Tomb. And that was just "I am bla bla ble, the necromancer", etc. So it wouldn't be much use to ask him for a background cause you wouldn't get much.
