One problem with multiple accounts is there is still only one Windows Registry. So the registry info on the last one installed will always be used. Unfortunately, due to the way the registry works, you cannot make a separate registry for each account. :wallbash:

The best solution I have found for multiple copies is mTes4Manager: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35263

mtes4manager does not allow the game to be moved or allow the game in separate accounts. it just allows multiple copies of the game under the same account. You must read all of the documentation for Mtest4manager and follow it exactly to have multiple copies of a game.

Until Windows actually gets rid of the registry and the problems it causes we will have these kind of troubles. When you install the game, it creates several entries in the Windows registry that tell windows where to find certain files for the game. By reinstalling in a diferent account, those entries have been changed and the original account will not be able to find the files, or it will look in the wrong locations. No mater how many accounts you have there is only one windows registry per windows install.

One way around would be to partition your disk or have 2 separate disks and have an entirely separate copy of windows on each. Then each would have it's own registry. However you would have to reboot and change the boot disk to get the other one to start. I actually did this at one time. One copy on a WinXP Disk, and a Win7 on another. Each with a copy of Oblivion. One used for making mods, one for playing. Then I made my own multiple Oblivion - similar to mtes4manager. Here is a link to my version, I believe the mtes4manager is better though.
