ChaosDAce
So years ago my Skyrim Experience was ruined by save game bloating and I quit Skyrim. But now I am in Uni, and I need a game with good content so I though I would try again. I've gotten the latest update and all DLC. I've also got about 40 mods Installed but I've run into a few annoying problems. So I was getting 30 - 40 fps I am on my Sony Vaio Laptop: i7 processor8GB RamAMD Radeon HD 7500/7600 seriesVram = 2,048 MB So I made some INI tweaks and installed HiAlgoBOOST and it fixed my performance, my game feels a lot smoother now. After installing all my mods I was running into a few problems: 1. Whenever I collect herbs or kill an opponent, there is a HUGE DELAY in the sound effects playing, for example I would kill a mudcrab and 20 seconds later the sound of the crab dying would play.2. I tried riding a horse and my character would STAND UP while riding the horse3. Sometimes I get water textures flickering4. Some distant objects have a horrible stretched texture and when I come closer I can walk right through these objects (despite the fact that if I save and reload these objects will load in normally (normal textures + collision) I have used LOOT to get my load order straight, I was hoping someone could help me, I am not an expert. Here is my mod list: SKSE (I use the SKSE Launcher)HiAlgoBOOSTFXAA Post process injector (preset 2)Unnoficial Skyrim Legendary edition patchFalskaarWyrmstoothApaachi Sky HairCampfireClimates of Tamrielmoonpath to ElswyerUnnoficial High Resolution PatchSkyUIRaceMenuRaceMenu precache KillerThe Dance of DeathImmersive ArmoursRealistic Lighting overhaul (Full version)Immersive WeaponsRealistic Ragdolls and forceGame of Thrones FollowersFrostfallBandoliers Bags and PouchesAmidian Born Armours, Weapons and Unique ItemsSneak ToolsPerkus Maximus (Full Version)Deadly DragonsBlack Sacrament ArmourAlternate Star LIve Another LifeSKYRIM 2k textures (1k version)CBBEHigh Res Rock texturesBetter Males In adition I have made INI tweaks to grass, shadows and the Loading Screen memory so it loads faster, it was at 32 i put it to 72. ChaosDAce
So I just did some testing, it seems HiAlgoBOOST is the problem, is there some alternative way for me to boost performance similarly to HiAlgoBOOST? I can play at a decent framerate if I remove 1k textures but I'd like to have a slightly better looking game than this.
WolfLuyt
Hi Chaos Have you disabled the Vsync in the skyrim ini files? That will cause problems... I would recommend you give these a try : 1. Enboost : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649/?2. Skyrim Performance Plus : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6387/?3. Skyrim Project Optimization : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32505/? Also check this guide : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68599/? Hope it helps Edited January 26, 2016 by WolfLuyt
