jhardingame
So, I played New Vegas, and thought "Time to mod this sucker." Came to a point where I wanted to build a city with some of the new meshes and of course....some of the old ones. Opened the GECK to find that only one of the old building tilesets used in DC to be included with the GECK. Said "Ok" as the NV BSA's still had a lot of left over files. Opened the up to find none of the Urban meshes I was looking for where in their either. So, what's a guy to do? Make the stuff himself! Here's some pics of the stuff I've been working on, and will continue working on; http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/295/falloutnv20110423131515.th.png http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/6236/falloutnv20110423131502.th.png http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/7277/falloutnv20110423131458.th.png http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/801/falloutnv20110423131447.th.png http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/2346/falloutnv20110423131442.th.png http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/3214/falloutnv20110423131438.th.png http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/2586/falloutnv20110423131433.th.png I want to elaborate on the main building piece shown in the above picture. The way it is set up, it has separate floor-addon pieces, so you can make your building as tall (or as short) as you want. This allows for a larger amount of variety within using one type of tile-set. In Fallout 3, Bethsoft mainly used only 4 different tile sets for most of their Urban Areas. I aim to create more than that in order to create a more diversified urban environment. To put into detail what some of this will include; -New Tilesets to create your own Urban/City Areas.-Some Unique Buildings in order to give an extra flair.-Every building piece WILL have an LOD counterpart, so you can easily and efficiently generate LOD's when using these assets. I was originally building these for a mod that I'm developing, but I decided to make them their own separate resource and share them with the NV community.Note; This resource is FAR from finished, however, I will post updates whenever I have an update ready. For you modders out there, I hope you stay tuned so you're all prepared for the release. Hopefully, I can get it ready some time this summer(and before the release of Skyrim, of course :P). Hope you enjoy watching the development of this resource! :D Edited April 23, 2011 by jhardingame
