Realistic Kids

Hi all.

 

While playing Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas I was always asking myself the same question: “Why I can’t kill kids?” I pretty much understand that this is censorship; but why then savage murders, dismemberment, burning alive were not affected by it? Are all of these deeds are not so evil as murder of kid?

In postapocalyptic world, where chaos, massacre, lawlessness and war are trivial matter, murder of infants will be casual as well.

Also there are almost zero kids in towns of Fallout New Vegas world. Most number of population are men and women about 30+ years old. If that is reality of society, that was presented by Fallout, then it will soon extinct.

Because of that I want to give an idea about Addon that will increase number of kids and include possibility of its murder. If there are already Addons of this type existing would you mind show it to me?

 

P.S. My request is not based on cruelty and bloodthirst, just want to make the game more real.

Perhaps it should just be a huge Karma loss to kill a child, even if they are being a pain in the butt :)

In the original Fallouts, you could kill kids, but if you did, you got the Childkiller reputation. It pretty much meant that everybody hated you, and bounty-hunters would come after you. Perhaps you could find a way of reincorporating it into New Vegas?

 

And I like the idea of adding more kids to the waste. I mean, why did they have a Schoolhouse in Goodsprings if they don't have kids?

 

And, I'm glad you don't want a kid-murdering mod for reasons other people want them, like to have a massacre of Little-Lamplight, or to kill the Mick and Ralph's crier. Those guys sicken me.

There was a mod on the Nexus that made the kids in the game killable, it even featured a Childkiller perk (sans the bounty hunters though). It's long gone now, don't know why it was removed.

and it's been far too long for a "Lord of the Flies" or "Children of the Corn" society to keep existing....Though we understand that the enclave probably did build a vault with no one over the age adolesence way back when, they also probably built a vault with no one under 50 years of age too....
