angelwraith
ok, sorta a new problem its with the inv of the npc...When I first make them they seem fine armor/weapon shows up in game. but if say another time I come back to the Geck and change there armor it does show in the Geck but only when I click on the npc in the view window, when I select something else in the view window the armor switches back to the old armor and when I test it in the game they still have the old armor. Now I've deleted the old armor from there inv but the same thing happens.... if i understand your post correctly it sounds to me like the inventory the npc had at first is getting saved into the savegame.open the console click on the NPC and type "inv" do both inventory sets come up? if so start a new game without your mod enabled and save, then restart the game with your mod enabled and try it again. Both still showing up?
davidlallen
NPC inventory not updating is a common mod question. You need to keep a save game from before you activated the mod, and load that. As soon as you meet an NPC in game, the save game contains the NPC's inventory. If you go back and modify their inventory in geck, and reload a save game from after you met the NPC, the save game inventory will be used and the inventory in the mod will be ignored. This advice applies to a lot of other problems as well; so always load a save game without anything from your mod in it.
CommodoreBlitz
the save I use is right after leaving the Doc's house at the start of the game then I use a temp "door" to get to the location of my mod as its far away from Goodsprings and a lvl 1 would not make the trip. So when I load up the game to test my PC has not met anyone except for the Doc.

Now load the game W/O your mod enabled and save at the location your talking about WITH YOUR MOD DISABLED then re-enable the mod and go to the NPC again and check the INV again... any differences?
