Look at the example I gave again. Each of the vampire levels correspond to a different value for the "vamp" variable. When the "vamp" variable and the vampire level is no longer the same, the bonuses are taken away and the variable is set to 0 again. So just do the same for birth signs.

 

Make a variable, and assign it a different value for each birth sign. If the birth sign no longer matches the variable's value, take away the bonuses and set the variable back to 0.
