Switch weapons using mouse wheel

I've been looking for something like this with no luck.

 

I would like a mod that lets you switch from one weapon to the other, using the mouse wheel, like in other FPS games. The weapons should be the ones that are hotkeyed to numbers 1-8, though other (non-weapon) items should be skipped (like stimpaks, armor, etc..)

 

I would do it myself if I knew how, but I don't know how to script something like this.

This is a very old topic, but I am just now installing F3 and would also find a mod like this very useful. I know there used to be a mod here on Nexus that did this (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8040) but it is now apparently deleted.

There is this mod for fallout new vegas: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39997/?

but you'll probably need to use something like tale of two wastelands to use it in fallout 3.
