Hi everyone !

I'm not used to come here and this forum, but now i do because i have some request.

First let me explain what i am on :

I've made some mods with a some new Chrome Light effect (like a pearlescent paint). Armor, weapon ... The possibility are many. I can change the reflect power, the colors (i can have for example 3 differents colors lighting). Well, now i know how to proceed. Take a look on it : HERE

So, i have now some hability to share, and this is my subject here : TO SHARE THINGS (and thx again to whiteshadow, he explained to me how to handle that new effect. This effect was NEVER MADE before, so it is a nice step for all moders community)

I know how to make a standalone mod ( for almost anything), i know how to make them craftable. But i do not know how to proceed to make that colors and textures effect as a part of modification in game. And be able, with craft, to chose the colors effect. So i'm looking for some people to work with, share some knowledge, and do great mods.

THE GOAL :

Make a standalone mod about the Combat Armor set, and Synth, craftable. With an option to select the color directly in game with the crafting, as a part of a modification or any upgrade for example.

Make a standalone mod about weapon retextured, same idea.

Sorry for my english, hopefully i'am understable ^^. Please, feel free to contact me on my message box, i'll enjoy for sure to work with another people !

^^^ that's the only way to do it.

Assuming you achieved the effect by specular maps mixed with emissive light flags, that is all controlled by the BGSM,

So all you need to do is create OMODs and the related forms (cobj, loose mis mode etc), and have them perform a material swap to switch it to the new material.

To get it in the upgrade menus you'd need to add a material ap_keyword to the armor, and label that keyword in I think it's the cobj. Or create your own ap keywords if you'd prefer to seperate it from vanilla menus
