jallard
When it comes to creating PC's within FNV's character creator I am extremely terrible at it. I do a much better job with Dragon Age Origins character creator, with the exception of changing the looks of the men, who always come out looking like Dudley Do-Rights. With DAO's character creator, however, I can make my females PC's look like Victoria Secret models. With FO3 and FNV they come out looking like they really have been shot in the face. It's the sliders, I think. For me that's one of the biggest parts of my RPG experience. I mean with FNV's character creator it is super difficult for me to even distinguish the color of the eyes let alone the blush, the lip color and the eyeshadow. It seems like for some developers the character creator is an afterthought and not within the budget: So, it is the least developed?!? All that being said, however, I wish there were some better presets out there to choose from. Thank you.
ita
There are numerous character presets available on the Nexus, I use the FO3 Facegen Presets whenever I get tired of fiddling with the character creator. Also, you can use many of the in-game NPCs as character presets. Just use GECK to find the character you want to use as a preset, check the box that says 'Is CharGen Face Preset' and save your changes to an .esp file.
