WaffleWaffle789789
Hey there, just a few questions I need answered to help me make my mod. Any help would be appreciated: 1. I have the Knights of the Nine plugin, and I'd like to put the stand for the Crusader items in my custom house so I can display them proudly in a custom shrine. How do I take the stand from the plugin and import it into my house mod? 2. I seem to have problems finding a great many meshes and such that I want to use in "custom" items, including (but not limited to) Harradra, Mysterium Xarxes, and others. I look in the proper directories, and find only a few meshes present where there should be a ton. How do I rectify this?

In the case of the KotN stuff, you would need to remake the things you want in the CS from scratch (pointing the item in the CS to the extracted files) within that mod. However as mods can't reference eashother, the mod containing the house would have to be loaded as active. In the second case, if you aren't trying to change the item type, you could just make a duplicate, change the editor id, and attach what scripts you want... Otherwise you would have to make something in the CS point to the extracted meshes.
WaffleWaffle789789
How would I go about extracting the meshes? Are you saying that I need to simply copy everything I want from KotN and stitch it together? Yeah, I just want to make domesticated Harradra so my garden doesn't attack me. I was able to do this with Spiddal Stick just fine, as the mesh was where it was supposed to be, but the Harradra is absent. Thanks for your patience! dipodrsc
To extract the meshes you need a BSA unpacker such as Timeslip's BSA Unpacker, found at http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=3117
Vagrant0
http://forum.gamingsource.net/index.php?showtopic=37346 You should really take the time to read your existing topic... Povuholo explained how to do the plants. You don't need to extract the meshes if you're just making a copy of something within the .esm in the CS. You really only need to rebuild the item in the CS if the item is part of another mod, or if you're using the mesh for something other than its current use. WaffleWaffle789789
Yeah, that solved my problem with the plants, but not the armor stand from KotN. Nobody was answering my question there, so I figured there'd be no harm in mentioning it while bringing up my issue with the meshes, which has been solved. And I only asked again because I wasn't sure if rebuilding it was necessary or not, which I see that it is. But that basically amounts to extracting a few meshes and copying a script. Let me just say again that I really appreciate your willingness to put up with (and even answer) my silly questions, but I've been hard-pressed to find these answers in wikis.
