Invisible/Underground Robots?

Alright,so... This might be a little weird of an issue, but I've found that, some of the time, robots appear to be invisible with small hitboxes. They can only attack me with close combat and the same goes for me (Yeah, gotta kill a Sentrybot with a knife). This normally goes for mobile robots as turrets and such stay where they are. A bunch of NPC robots are also fine (though Codsworth wasn't in one playthrough, he's okay now for some reason). It's pretty annoying and I'm trying to figure it out.

I've already verified my game for missing files, and I've tried starting up the game with no mods (the recent attempts showed Codsworth back underground again. All I had to verify it was him there was a small hitbox to see his name pop up and a side of a coffeepot on the floor moving around.)

I would very much prefer not to uninstall and reinstall my entire game. (I could just live with it and kill those bots by melee, but it's unsatisfying when I can't see them).

If anyone can help, great! I'll just deal with it otherwise, but I am hoping there's some kind of fix for this as someone else might get this problem in the future.

My goodness, how did I miss this? Thank you so much for pointing me this way. I'll see if I can fix things through this, but it does beg the question why it still occurs with all my mods off and game cache files verified while in a new game.
