Witch Hunt: Equal Love

I moved this topic to the spoilers section of the boards. Since this has turned into a discussion more about what choices need to be made in the DLC.

Nothing wrong with it becoming that, simply don't want to be unfair to the people who have requests, and want to keep their requests to the first page ;)

Sorry Darke, thanks for moving - you're right : )

Ziagg- No need to be sorry! ;) Threads evolve all the time ;)

no problem at all. :)

I just wish that I could join in the conversation, but I never bought the witch hunt DLC, so I'm afraid that I'm clueless

Thandal, I would be very grateful! It would be interesting to know which dialogue options you get when you talk to Ariane (do you get to say "I love her"?).

Maybe it's some kind of mod conflict...?

Ok, I loaded up fresh game of WH using several different Wardens. All of whom were female, all had been played through DA:O with Equal Love installed. Most had been Morrimancers, but one hadn't.

As was intended (I would presume) any that had participated in the DR had the "We'll get the child back" option in the first conversation with Dog, and any that had achieved "In_Love" with Morri had the "I love her." dialogue option in the first conversation with Ariane.

For the one who had not romanced her, there was no reference to a child when speaking with Dog, and the line with Ariane was, "She's a friend." instead. (I didn't go back through to determine which Wardens might have romanced her but allowed another to father the OGB. I'm sure I have at least one, but not sure which it might be.)

So while I do have some other Wardens I could try, if you're sure the one you're using had reached "In_Love", then I'd look to something else preventing the relationship status from being recognized.

Thank you so much Thandal for looking into this and letting me know. It's really helpful to know how it worked for you, and I'll have a look what else the problem could be.

Thanks again, much appreciated.

Thandal, I couldn't find any other problem - there probably is something else preventing the relationship from being recognized, but I couldn't figure out what. The status should have definitely been "In love" in my import. Just before I was going insane I remembered the console commands.. runscript zz_str_morrigan let me set the flags how I THOUGHT they were set after Origins. And then finally I got my closure...

I'm a total noob and Morrigan even made me learn how to use console commands. It's a bit pathetic, but I'm happy

Thanks again for providing assistance.

Interesting read, thanks - I agree with you for exactly the reasons you mentioned. Still this is also true:
