kofshinobi
How hard would it be to move the 3rd person character's camera to the location of his head, essentially creating an 1st person mod? I know there are already a few mods like this out there, but I they don't work very well IMHO. The only problem I can think of is that if you look down of course you will be looking into your own body, is there a way to make the camera move forward so that this doesn't happen? fore
I don't know any way to script the (3rd person) camera. The only idea I have is to ask the OBSE team if there is any chance. Right now OBSE can only set FOV for camera. The problem with the "3rd person animations in 1st person view" is that it uses camera-less 3rd person animations, and manipulates the 1st person skeleton camera instead. This creates several unwanted effects, like the bumping movements. I was trying another approach by adding camera control to the 3rd person animations, but ran into 1 or 2 problems which I couldn't solve at that time. So right now I have this on hold, but still want to continue at a later time.
