Qistina
Hi, I have a request for proper heavy armor for female character. All heavy armors are not feminine and bulky. They all have flat chest, and when wear them will look like men. My request is to feminize them without changing their original, i mean not a new armor with super effects, just their own original only feminize looks on female characters. Armors like Legion, Juggernaut and others... And also is there a mod that can remove the dog collar on female character neck when wearing leather armor? I find that disturbing and offensive.... Thanks...and sorry for my English. Edited April 27, 2011 by Qistina
DarkeWolf
Qistina- This is something that has bothered a lot of people. And I completely agree that it would be something that would be great to have. But there's a couple of things.....The collars on the leather armor.... it would actually be BETTER to change it to something else, rather than a collar. Like a necklace, or some other item around the neck. The reason for that part of the armor being there, is because the head and upper torso are two seperate meshes. There is a huge, ungodly looking SEAM where the two pieces meet. Without something there to cover that seam, the characters look almost as if they'd had their heads chopped off, and then somebody glued it back on :( There has been several attempts at making modifications to the female heavy armor. Some of them don't look too bad. BUT, when those armor models are used by armor that customizes that base model, such as say.... the heavy plate, and then Ghost's Runic Armor... the modifications to the base screw up the custom armors, and the textures look like a complete mess :(
Qistina
Oh i see...so it cannot be done? :( I still don't know why Bioware artist thinking to give a dog collar to women? It is offensive and degenerating women. Look like want to make women are the same like dogs. I see armor models for other games, none give a dog collar to women, even real armor don't have dog collar for women. Sure you know about mage robes right? I am shocked when put new robes on Wayne...what is Bioware artists thinking? Are all female mages must be half naked? Too bad heavy armor can't being adjusted...i like Armor of Legion and Juggernaut...hmm...it seems i have to live with it. Thanks :) Edited April 29, 2011 by Qistina
DarkeWolf
Heyas Qistina :)Well, the armor itself CAN be adjusted, it just causes issues with anything that uses that particular model as a base. If somebody were to create it as it's own model, with separate filenames than the other armors use, that would work just fine, without causing the texturing issues.Mage robes would be the same way. There's mods that alter the base mesh/texture combos, and those usually end up causing trouble with other modded armors which also use that base :( The collar. I dunno, after being around the punk scene for a while, I guess I just don't make that much of it. Because I have seen more than a few women wearing chokers. But yeah... that part of the textures can be edited without causing any issues at all. ;)
Qistina
Hi, You mean the adjusted armor only conflicted with mod armor? I only use one mod armor, Slender Female Heavy Armor, thats all i use for now. I don't quite understand what you saying...if it just conflict with mod armor then it i fine by me, because i just use one mod armor and i don't want mod armor that give bonus to attribute or power. Armor of Legion and Juggernaut only 2 armor right? No armor like that i see in the game. I don't know if it will conflict other armor. Hmm...i can't wait to see Armor of Legion female version :)
DarkeWolf
Ok... here's the deal.In the case of massive armors... there is pretty much ONLY TWO MESHES that are used by massive armors. The dwarven heavy armor, and the all the other "human" massives.Making a change to the mesh can alter the texture mapping for the mesh. This can cause conflicts and graphic errors. Since the effort armor, king cailan armor, the generic plate armor, all the human plate armors all use the same mesh, it could cause conflicts, UNLESS the modder renamed the mesh to a different filename, and assigned the textures to that specific mesh. This would mean that the modified armor(s) would not be the same armors distributed in the game. They would be custom armor sets. Thats the only way that something like this could be done without causing conflicts ;) Hope this clears it up :)
Qistina
You mean you must create new armor but look similar like the original then replace the original with the new armor? That is what overwrite folder do right? Overwrite the thing? So if create new Armor of Legion or Juggernaut, it will overwrite the original? Why cannot make it so if the overwrite have the same value with the original, it is fine. Anyway...thanks for replying :)

TSotP
I personally use several different mods to feminize my armors. XT slender Light ArmorHsli's Armor ReplacementXT slender Heavy armorFeminized Armors but what you have to do is go through the different mods and remove the replacements that will conflickt i use XT for the light armors (all races)Helsi for the Medium armor (human and elf female only)XT for the Heavy armor (human female only)and Feminized Armors for the 3 types of Massive (all races) if you unzip the mods into anywhere other than your override folder, then copy out the bits you like into a new folder. then, once you have that done, copy the new folder into your override folder. The Naming conventions for the files are pretty staight-forward. example: hf_arm_hvy_0.msh would be Human Female ARMor HeaVY ect.
