OZ9OZ9OZ9
i am new to pc gaming. i recently bought an MSI Gs60 ghost and i love it. i've been using steam and put about 80 hrs into The Witcher 3 (it is amazing). however, i just discovered this whole modding thing and have been trying to figure out how to install the Debug Console. i cannot figure it out! again, im playing through Steam and my PC is running windows 10. the big problem is that i cant locate files for The Witcher 3 that contain the \bin\x64 and all that. last place i tried was through C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\the witcher 3\. nothing. ive checked out multiple tutorials. i am also running free version of avast. not sure its a security allowance thing either... any help? Aurielius
Ok , navigate from Steam\ Steamapps\ common\ The Witcher 3\ bin\ x64That is where your exe resides. You also need to download and install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013in order to get the debug console to function. Last but not least you need to create a folder called Mods in your main Witcher 3 folder.when pointing NMM to your W3 folder ..do it manually and direct it to the MAIN Witcher folder NOT where the exe resides.NMM versions above 60.0 have issues with W3 mod installations which is why I reverted back to my 56.1 version This should get you started, I'm sure there will be more questions, good luck.
