cmac
Ok...I downloaded the Firemoth mod from Bethesda...and...wow. I have a Lv. 10 Dunmer with adamantium armour, dragonscale shield, Daedric longsword, and an enchanted ebony longsword. I have tried kiling Grurn many times, just to be killed every time! His spell drains my health before my potions can recover it! And, when he is not using his spell, but his sword, it's like he won't take any damage! I hack away at him with my two reasonably good swords, and his health meter barely moves a centimeter! I know it's pretty early to be going to Firemoth, but this is ridiculous! And my difficulty is at 0! :ranting:
Malchik
Could you be a bit clearer about what you are asking here? Level 10 is too low to be doing this quest, as you have discovered. What else is there to say?
cmac
Not asking, just complaining. But even if I were a higher-level character, In wouldn't have much better weapons (as mentioned before, daedric longsword and ebony broadsword), would I? What level did you beat Grurn at? He's got double the hitpoints of Dagoth Ur, a constant health and magicka regen effect, and a spell that takes away 100 points a blast. ANd 255 strength. Malchik
Well, I had completed Morrowind, Tribunal and started on Bloodmoon when I downloaded it so my character was very high level. (Well over 80). It would be wrong to use this as an example. So let us change the question to 'what level have others been able to deal with the lych?' Now I'm pretty certain that I have seen a discussion on this already but since I cannot find it using the search button I will leave the topic open. If one of the other Moderators remembers where it was they may lock this thread and refer you elsewhere.
