Dontino
So I get the construction set, and being the ambition creative dude I am, I get right into it. Grab a few tutorials, make an NPC and some fun spells blah blah blah. So then I'm like "Man this is a blast! Lets test some s**t!" (not sure if I can swear here) And so I open Oblivion, turn the mod on (VIA the Data Files) thing annnnd nothing is there. None of the spells are received with the "psb" cheat and the NPC are no where to be found. I have about 9 other mods that shouldn't interfere. Am I saving it incorrectly? I use TES:Construction Set and I set it as the active file before adding everything, then I click da little save button. Oh and this might be a common problem, if so there's already a topic for it I'm sure but I didn't know what to search for, so don't bite my head off. Thanks in advance and stay out of trouble.

Getting the spells in game is easiest with a little scripting. While it doesn't exactly pertain to what you're trying to do, there is enough overlap with this topic... http://forum.gamingsource.net/index.php?showtopic=37317... to use the information I provided there to make it work. Also remember that you need to enable the mod through the launcher or OBMM before anything in that mod will show.
Dontino
psb (if that's what you mean by BSB) does indeed add custom spells from other mods.Either way, the activator didn't work. Dragging premade stuff into the world also won't show (and I know 'F' drops them to the ground) it's as if my mod in ignored completely. And yes I have it enabled, I don't see how I'd have 9 mods and not one enabled.

Provided that you saved the mod corrently, and that single mod completely contains everything it deal with (in other words, no other mods were loaded when you made it). I have OBMM, I don't see how it helps though. I'm thinking it might have something to do with how I have it.I load up the Oblivion main file with TES:CS, add some stuff, save it as whatever then set it as the active file and add more. Is this correct?
Sypron
Yes. Thats correct. Try doing something very basic just to see if the problem is based on the other spells you are trying to make. Make a new mod, get a Basic weapon, iron longsword or something and drop it into Someplace (Imperial City) then go in game and see if its there. If it is there, then something you are making in your mods isn't working. If the sword isn't there, the problem might be with the CS.

Dontino
Here's an idea, could it be my version of Oblivion? I haven't updated it, but I have the newest TES:CS. Oh, and it seems that thanks to offical mods I can't update. Woohoo.

Yeah, different versions may cause some problems, not sure if this is one of them or not though.
