Are there any mods that give Oblivion a lean function for peeking around corners? I think it is a sorely missed oversight on behalf of the developers.

Either you missed something or you think that your character should be able to peek....around....a....corner?.....Right! Well to each his own. You can come close to this by using the third person view as it does let you see around a corner to a large degree....but you knew this right? and it was not enough for you? Seeing around a corner?? ..... what next you want to see through doors and walls.....some cool magic spell for such a thing? This is Oblivion not some role playing game, but good luck with them corners :-)

I think what the dark brother is meaning is that "is there any mods that allow your character to peer around corners to see what's there (you know leaning to the side whil against a wall and looking to see whats there, all sneaky like) animation (1st and 3rd person views)

 

sorry, i don't think there is mods like that because i've looked. but i could be wrong, who knows

Enable Free Look is the best I can do.

This mod adds a first person Free Look capability. This allows you to usethe middle mouse button, or your 'Change View' key, to look around the world in a simulated first person mode, while you continue to walk or run in a different direction.
